Perimeter Cares supports employees through an internal benevolence fund, provides free construction labor for community outreach, and donates to local charities, with funding from employee payroll deductions and company matching, ensuring timely assistance for teammates and meaningful contributions to the community.
WHAT IS IT?
Perimeter Cares
Perimeter Cares has three primary functions. The first is an internal benevolence program, fully funded by Perimeter employees, designed to support our team members and their immediate families during challenging times. Life can bring unexpected difficulties, and this program allows employees to automatically contribute $1 to $5 per paycheck by completing a simple payroll deduction form. These contributions go into a fund managed exclusively to help coworkers facing specific financial hardships.
Requests for assistance are handled with discretion to protect privacy. By coming together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our teammates when they need it most.
The second purpose of Perimeter Cares is to provide free construction labor for community outreach. We collaborate with non-profit organizations and material vendors to help those in need with home and business improvements. Additionally, we work directly with families who need financial assistance to enhance their homes.
The third purpose of Perimeter Cares is to support local charities and causes that matter to our employees. If you’d like to request support for a specific cause, email hello@perimeterroofingva.com with the details. The leadership team will review requests to ensure they align with our company’s mission and values.
Approved causes will be shared with the team, giving everyone a chance to contribute. The company will match employee donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $250 per cause or the amount needed, whichever is less.
Important Notes:
• Donations must go to organizations, not individuals.
• Entry fees for events do not qualify for matching.
• The annual budget for matching donations is $2,500.

WHO DECIDES WHERE BENEVOLENCE FUNDS GO?
Each request is thoroughly reviewed by the Perimeter Cares Team, and then put to a vote. Once the team determines the request is a worthy cause, the funds will be distributed in a timely manner.
